Have you ever had so many tabs open in Safari that you take a while to find the one you need?

Happens to me all the time –and I’ve seen lawyers with dozens upon dozens (upon dozens) of tabs open at a time.

Today’s tip is quick and easy (the way they should ALL be):

An ‘Iconic’ Solution to Your Tab-Finding Problem

What gets in the way of choosing your preferred tab is the lack ofa visual cue to help you identify where to go right away. The tabs all blend into one another.

Fortunately, Safari offers you an option to add icons to your tabs so that you can identify them from one another much more quickly.

Fortunately, Safari offers you an option to add icons to your tabs so that you can identify them from one another much more quickly.

Here’s how to change your tabs to icons on Safari:

  • Click on the ‘Safari’ dropdown on the top left of your screen
  • Then select ‘Preferences’ > ‘Tabs’
  • Check the box that says ‘Show website icons in tabs’

Voila! You now have the added visual cue to help navigate through the many tabs you have open!
