Rebecca joins our GlobalMac IT Team after recently working at TransDigm Group Inc., an aerospace holding company.
Just as we have, TransDigm recognized Rebecca’s talent, quickly moving her from her original position as the legal assistant into an administrative assistant role assisting multiple departments, including legal, tax, and general office tasks. TransDigm has more than fifty subsidiary companies, and Rebecca facilitated and maintained contact between the corporate office and each subsidiary company. Some of her responsibilities included processing and drafting legal documents, filing company documents, overseeing and aiding in company-wide training, making travel arrangements, fixing the printer, and doing whatever was necessary to make everyone’s job easier.
Rebecca focuses on her 1-year-old son, Dean, when not at work. Their family includes Pipaluk, a five-year-old cat, and Mulan, a 3-year-old German Shepherd. They live in Cleveland but recently found a new home in the suburbs and are excited to start the next chapter of their lives.
Rebecca likes to read, mainly fiction, but she will grab a nonfiction book if it piques her interest when she takes some time to herself. She is a certified yoga instructor, enjoys writing, and recently has picked up an interest in Feng Shui. Rebecca loves to learn and has plans to return to school to study Criminology and either Naturalist Studies or something with the environment.
Rebecca's favorite quote:
"Don’t count the days, make the days count."
