Help Desk Agent II
Luke Macias joins Global Mac IT as our newest Help Desk Agent II.
He most recently worked at UnitedHealth Care as a Tier 2 Help Desk Technician. While at UnitedHealth Care Luke was a jack of all trades. His day-to-daywork life consisted of imaging computers, working with vendors to order hardware, managed user accounts and repairing laptops, desktops, printers, and other hardware used by his clients.
Luke's passion to help clients with a smile on his face is one of the many reasons Global Mac IT added Luke to the Help Desk Team. He doesn’t wait to be asked but jumps in when and where needed so that our clients don’t have to wait long. He has blown through our extensive new employee training to get down to business helping in Help Desk land.
Luke currently lives in Houston, Texas with his girlfriend and Maeve, their Australian Shepard. He insists there isn’t much to do in Houston, but we have a feeling that is because he has lived there all his life. He describes himself as quite the “foodie” and has really been enjoying all the Vietnamese restaurants that can be found in and around Houston.
On the weekends he enjoys PC gaming. He specifically enjoys playing team-based games like League of Legends, Overwatch and many others. Luke enjoys music and likes to DJ with his friends as a second hobby. He gathers with his friends to play their favorite songs and to come up with mashups and variations of EDM (Electronic Dance Music). He doesn’t DJ as a profession, but enjoys it to relax, get loose and get groovy.
