Ellen Dubiel
Executive Assistant

Ellen joins GlobalMac IT and Bobaguard as our newest Executive Assistant. She will be supporting our CEO, Tom Lambotte, and our CMO, Christine Rivett, and has already been a tremendous asset to the two of them and our entire team.
She most recently worked as an executive assistant and office manager at BlackHawk Resources Limited. Black Hawk Resources is a risk management, trading, and brokering firm. Ellen helped the owner open the office and grow it over the past seven years.
Ellen also worked as the Senior Site-Based Specialist at Big Brothers – Big Sisters overseeing their mentoring programs pairing college students, law students, and business professionals with youth from the community.
Ellen's empathy, attention to detail, and organization are just a few of the skills we identified, and we realized she would be a great addition to the team.
Ellen has been married to her wonderful husband, Mike, for 10+ years and has three adorable children. Two daughters, Marigold, who is two, and Clementine, who is five, and their son Beau who is seven. Their family also includes two furkids, Watson, the Bernedoodle, and Arlo, the Frenchton, who add to the overall chaos, but as Ellen likes to say, "when it comes to babies, pets or sweets, what is one more?"
Ellen and her family live in Fairview Park, Ohio, just west of downtown Cleveland. She attended Salve Regina University in historic Newport, Rhode Island, majoring in cultural anthropology with a minor in women's studies. Ellen is originally from Rhode Island and made Northeast Ohio her home after a year of volunteer work at St. Ignatius High School's community center, working with many of their different outreach programs.
Ellen and her family love going for hikes and having impromptu dance parties in the living room (the Frozen soundtrack and "It's Raining Tacos" are family favorites). In the summer, they enjoy spending time on their grandparent's sailboat and discovering new playgrounds to explore. Winter in Ohio is made for snuggling, which is also one of the family's favorite ways to spend time together.
When Ellen can find some alone time (afternoon naps anyone?), she enjoys summers at the beach (remember, she is from the east coast), her houseplants, a quiet evening in her backyard hammock with a good book, live music, yummy food, bargain shopping and rediscovering her creative side with jewelry making, painting and pottery.
Ellen's favorite quote:
"Even after all this time, the Sun never says to the Earth, "You owe me." Look what happens with a love like that, it lights up the whole sky."
