I bought The Miracle Morning on 12/12/2012 and put in my ever-growing books-to-read pile to gather dust. Why? I loved the concept, but never thought of myself as a morning person. I’d stay up late and drag myself out of bed, plus having 4 young kids doesn’t make it any easier!
Over the years, it became a bestseller, bringing in over $2 million in revenue and expanding to thirteen other books in the line. I had the pleasure of knowing Hal when we both sold CUTCO between 1998-2004.
The book came up again at the end of 2018 in my Strategic Coach workshop. My coach Chad Johnson shared his great results and belief in the Miracle Morning. Immediately, five others stepped forward; they all did it daily and swore by the process.
I decided to try it out in December, first getting up at 5:30 am (crazy to me). After a few days, I moved that up to 5 am and now rise at 4:30 am daily. The best part? I feel better than I have in a long time, more energized, focused, clear and calm.
So what is it about? In short, in that 60-90 minutes, you do meditation, affirmations, visualization, reading, journaling, and exercise - all things I’ve known I needed to do for years, but never made the time for.
